I am a 23 year old Wake Forest grad, currently working on my Masters in Marital and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary. I live in Pasadena, CA which is weird because I have always lived either in the south or in another country. I spent last year in Matamoros, Mexico with AIM and it was one of the best years of my life in terms of intimacy with Jesus and growing in love for people, allowing my heart to be broken for the things that break His heart. Living in community was wonderful and really difficult, but furthered my understanding of the way God desires for us to live together, sharing joys and struggles, and speaking into eachothers lives to build eachother up into better followers of Jesus. So this is what I want to do with my MFT degree- allow myself to be used in biblically based counseling while living somewhere in Latin America. I really don’t know how this is going to manifest itself. My parents live in Marietta, GA but I grew up mainly in Alabama
and North Carolina. I love singing, getting to know new
people, traveling, speaking spanish, being silly, the mountains, good
coffee, Mexican food, the month of July, tiramasu… lots of stuff. Just talk to me.
